Aimhigher Summer Universities are absolutely free and are designed to give year 10 pupils a real taste of university life.

At each Summer University participating pupils will get the chance to try out different academic subjects and join in lots of social activities. All of the Summer Universities are residential programmes which means pupils will be staying in student accommodation.

There are ten universities across Cheshire and Warrington, Greater Manchester and Greater Merseyside running summer programmes in 2010 with places for over 700 Year 10 pupils.
