Wednesday 10^th February - St Francis of Assisi Academy:  Year 8 Discovery Day

The Discovery Day is an opportunity for pupils to visit the LJMU Mount Pleasant campus and take part in a range of activities to introduce them to the lifestyle; both social and academic, of a university student.

They will tour the campus and all of its facilities before doing their own research and planning their own timetable as if they were a student themselves. It includes the opportunity for pupils to think about their own dreams and how they can realistically plan to achieve them, whilst giving them the chance to explore pathways they may not have considered and to hear the experiences of current undergraduate students.
