A group of young people between 19 and 25 will visit the Sure Start Family Centre in Speke on Thursday 3 November to take part in a day of activities relating to vocational routes into further and higher education

The programme includes facilitator leading session and introducing concept of vocational routes into HE by exploring individual strengths in different
subject areas. 

Workshop will take place throughout the day with advice and guidance from representatives from:

• Job Centre Plus
• Connexions
• Liverpool Community College Student Services
• Hope University Student Recruitment Team
• JMU Student Recruitment Team
• UoL Student Recruitment Tream
• Liverpool City Council
• Childcare Centres
• Home Link
• Streets Ahead Project

The Liverpool Community College DISC Manager will also be taking part in the event providing those attending with the opportunity to access Move On
numeracy and literacy skills assessments via laptops. 

There will also be an evaluation session and presentation of certificates.
