Gun Crime Conference
On the 5th April 2006 Toxteth Educational Trust will be hosting a gun crime conference at the Lace Centre, Sefton Park Drive, Liverpool, from 9.30am till 4pm. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
The aim of this conference is to address the effects of gun crime culture and empower the community to express their views on how it should be addressed, as well as hearing how those involved in the decision making process plan to combat this nationwide problem.
The conference shall consist of displays and performances from various artists, workshops and guest speakers from organisations including Merseyside Police and Liverpool City Council. It is aimed at both professionals and young people; therefore if you know of anybody who would benefit from this event please forward on.
