The Wise Project is a new collaborative project run by Edge Hill University & Aimhigher Greater Merseyside.

The project works with pupils in years 9, 10 and 11.

Project Aims:

1. introduce pupils to Higher Education and the concepts of going to HE.
2. develop pupils knowledge and understanding of HE
3. support pupils through their high school years, especially their GCSE year
4. inspire and motivate pupils to consider HE as an option for them
5. raise pupils aspirations about moving onto HE

Activities

The project will involve a range of interventions with the following year groups:

Year 9 - Awareness Raising Events

Year 10 - Skills for HE

Year 11 - Tasters for University
