The Healthcare Ambassador Programme is now underway and it is our intention to make best use of our extensive network of Healthcare Professionals to underpin our engagement with Aimhigher Students through a series of interventions:-

1. Introduction to Healthcare Careers  -  a clear insight to the wealth of career pathways within the Healthcare Sectors and the wide range of Employers linked with the sector.  This is an ideal opportunity for Q&A plus sign-posting for our regular "Drop-In" Sessions.
   
   
2. Drop-In Sessions - with capacity for 1-to-1's whilst actively promoting "Career of the Month".  These sessions are an ideal opportunity to delve into the truly diverse nature of working in the Healthcare Sector, mapping individual pathways into Healthcare careers whilst also acting as a resource for young people with career specific brochures available to take away.
   
   
3. Interactive Workshop - involving Graduate Mentors and participation from students in role play activities, exploring Patient Pathways or other specific areas of interest.
   
   
4. Professional Forums - Opportunity for discussion with Professionals from the Healthcare Sector who can provide a real insider view of their own area of work - the steps they took through education and work experience to reach their current position, and what inspired them to make the choices they took.

Participating schools may take advantage of all four stages of this Intervention, or select those most appropriate and beneficial to their cohort.  In addition, the programme aims to support development of strong links with HEI's in provision of Masterclasses, Taster Sessions and Campus Tours.
